Osiris One holds a 20% free carry interest in the Victory Copper-Gold project, with joint-venture partner Trinity One Metals Ltd.
Following exploration work by both parties in 2022 and 2023, the parties agreed to formally separate their ownership of the Victory Copper-Gold Project previously wholly owned by Osiris One (formerly Lithium ION Energy Ltd.). The split of the Baavhai Uul license was approved by the Mineral Resource and Petroleum Authority of Mongolia on November 26, 2023. Under the arrangement, Osiris One retains a 20% free carried interest in the Victory Copper Project until commercial production.
The Victory Discovery is one of approximately 25 copper geochemical discoveries on the Baavhai Uul Exploration Licence associated with ultramafic and mafic intrusives (differentiated mafic sills) and is only the first to be followed up by 50m x 50m grid spaced shallow auger geochemical drilling. This type of mineralization and host lithology hosts many known deposits in northern China, including the Tier-1 Jinchuan Deposit.
On January 10, 2024, Trinity One completed analysis of auger geochemical and ground geophysical data across the Victory intrusive at the Victory Copper Discovery in Mongolia. This has highlighted numerous targets for further exploration.
Since then, Trinity One Metals has announced six diamond holes, (2,000m) targeting the most exciting copper gold anomalies.
